LEGO Introduces A New World of LEGO Friends

Have you heard of Heartlake City, where every child can find a character who is just like them? It’s a place in the LEGO universe where they can learn to dream and follow their hearts with their friends by their side. Have you met its wonderful citizens including the original group of friends: Andrea, Emma, Mia, Olivia, and Stephanie? These are the LEGO Friends!

LEGO Friends is a unique LEGO theme that features doll-looking figures instead of the ordinary minifigures. LEGO minifigures are known to have the square LEGO feet and yellow rounded heads. With LEGO Friends, however, the “dolls” take on more human-like shapes, faces, hairstyles, and even clothing choices. Yet, they still have the same attach-detach abilities just like the minifigures.

LEGO Friends Toys

In the LEGO Friends range, the cute mini dolls come to play with animals; they ride on vehicles like boats and cars; and they tour locations like markets, cafes, water parks, and beaches. Kids can play out a wide variety of imaginative scenes based on real life experiences! Some LEGO Friends sets even promote interactive lessons about environmental issues such as tree planting, animal conservation, and electric vehicles.

After 10 amazing years, a brand-new cast of characters has arrived in Heartlake City! Kids can join Aliya, Nova, Zac, Liann, Paisley, Leo, Autumn, and Olly as they navigate the International School, make new friends, and go on awesome adventures. Let’s get to know them…

Aliya

Aliya is the friend that encourages you to be yourself. She loves school, horse-back riding with her best friend Autumn, and swimming. She is determined to succeed at everything she takes on. With studying, volunteering at the animal shelter, and countless extracurricular activities, her schedule is always jam packed. A caring friend who always gives good advice and who loves to help. Aliya’s wise words and caring nature make her the friend others go to for counsel. In turn, they make sure Aliya takes time out to relax.

Autumn

Autumn is the friend that makes you feel brave. She loves the outdoors and doesn’t let anything hold her back. Autumn is devoted to animals and protecting the planet. She is a free spirit who is at her happiest when she’s outdoors. Autumn is a great listener and her easy-going nature brings calmness to any situation. Curious and adventurous, Autumn cares deeply about the planet and loves sharing her experiences with her friends. Autumn was born without the lower part of her left arm – not that she lets this get in her way of exploring nature.

Leo

Leo is the friend that always cares about you. He was a bit nervous when he moved to HLC but new friends made him feel welcomed. He likes cooking and football. Good times and good food, those are what make Leo happy! He loves to combine the two by making something tasty for everyone to enjoy together. Outside the home, Leo can be found relaxing at the beach. Caring and considerate, Leo is always eager to help friends resolve their differences when disagreements happen. He loves to create a happy atmosphere and avoids conflict at all costs.

Liann

Liann makes you laugh! She loves doodling, painting, and comic books. Her optimistic enthusiasm can get her into a mess, but she is quick to apologise. With a sketchbook under one arm and her skateboard under the other, Liann is dedicated to her passions. She doesn’t worry about what others think and she never gives up on her goals. A creative thinker brimming with positivity, Liann spreads happiness by creating sketches of her friends with their pets. She can chat to anyone and is able to get even the shyest people talking.

Paisley

Paisley is the friend that always listens to you. She loves music and she has an amazing voice. She is pretty shy, though – and she is very anxious about singing in public. Although she’s often shy in everyday life, when Paisley gets on stage, she breaks out of her shell. She’s a talented musician and the songs she writes are full of emotion. In tune with her friends’ feelings, Paisley’s gentle nature makes her a brilliant listener and she’s always ready with a sympathetic ear when her friends have a problem they need to share.

Olly

Olly makes things happen! His willingness to help can turn into meddling in his friends’ interests—but Olly means well, and simply sees the potential in everything. Olly is a ball of creative energy. One minute he might be creating cool new outfits from recycled clothes, the next, he’s filming content for his latest video project. A natural entrepreneur, the charismatic and persuasive Olly can make friends easily. He’s committed to achieving his dreams and is great at encouraging his friends to make the most of their talents too.

Zac

Zac is the friend that inspires you to be your best. He is that dude that can be good at everything! He loves anime, martial arts, and gaming with Nova. Zac can always be relied on to make his friends laugh. He’s a bit of a prankster and loves to joke. He believes that life is for living and is willing to take on any challenge. A performer who loves the spotlight and with his infectious optimism, Zac brings the fun to every situation. He loves sharing his passions with friends and enjoys everything from motorsports to performing arts.

Nova

Nova is the friend that introduces you to new things. She is a popular live streamer and loves spending time with her dog, Pickle. Nova is a thoughtful person! She is an avid gamer and has a talent for fixing broken tech. When her friends have a broken device, they can rely on her to get it fixed. Outspoken and honest but kind at the core, Nova can sometimes come across as a bit of a loner. Her bluntness can put people off. The reality is that Nova cares deeply about her friends., even though she’d never tell them!
