Best 30 Famous Female Cartoon Characters of All Time

- Categories : Blog

Both grownups and kids would claim that their generation is the best. Ask each one why they think their generation is way better than the others, and it will take a lengthy pad paper to list their reasons. Yet, there’s one thing we can agree on, growing up watching cartoons is one reason why we love our generation – and many of us have a favourite cartoon when we were kids.

Animated cartoons in both TV and film, and now live streaming web services, are a great way to tell stories to children. A good story or screenplay is a major ingredient for a great animation, but it’s the CHARACTERS that can make the story more engaging and relatable to its viewers.

Cartoon characters, whether male of female, have influenced generations of viewers to aspire for loftier goals, to be the best of themselves, to make the right choices, and be humanely compassionate with other creatures. That’s why many characters from iconic cartoons have become symbols of heroism that kids look up to.

To mark the start of Women's History Month this March, Mr Toys highlights the best 30 famous female cartoon characters (we’ll leave the male ones on a later date so stay tuned for that). We have categorised our list of female cartoon characters (or female animated characters) into 3 rough categories, although most characters would easily fit into other or all categories!:
