Calling all Disney fans and trading card game (TCG) enthusiasts! It’s time to come together and combine both of your interests to welcome the ultimate Disney collectable – in TCG format! The Disney Lorcana Shimmering Skies links up Disney’s century of storytelling experience and Ravensburger’s 140 years of game-producing excellence.

In this fantastic, new trading card game, you will become an “Ilumineer” who wields magic inks to summon glimmers. These glimmers are known Disney characters who appear in both familiar and fantastical ways. You will be exploring the realm of Lorcana alongside your team of glimmers as you race to be the first to collect 20 “lore.” Competing against each other, players will play using characters, items, locations, actions, and “songs.” Choose whether to have your characters do a “quest” for lore or challenge your opponents to slow them down!

No experience with trading card games? Not to worry – you can play Disney Lorcana TCG right out of the box! The Disney Lorcana Gateway will let you and a friend begin playing as you learn and progress, quickly building your skills in the game.

On the guess list, you will see new faces like Wreck-It Ralph and his pixelated pals from Litwak’s Arcade as well as Anna, Elsa, and Olaf fresh from their most recent adventure into the Enchanted Forest. It’s going to be an event for everyone in the realm to remember!

In Shimmering Skies, the realm of Lorcana holds a great festival to celebrate its recent victory over Ursula, achieved in the previous set, Ursula’s Return. While most of Lorcana participates in the vibrant, fun-filled activities, a new mystery begins as you and other Illumineers search for a way to repair the worsening damage the Ursula glimmer has brought upon the Great Illuminary.

Each Lorcana Shimmering Skies TCG starter deck includes everything a player needs to start playing against another player who has their own deck. Through these decks, players get a taste of the rich story and varied characters in the Lorcana realm. Two starter decks are available for Shimmering Skies. Each pre-built deck has 60 cards and features cards from 2 inks, each with distinct play styles. The 2 ink combinations are Amethyst & Ruby and Emerald & Steel. Each starter deck also includes a booster pack of 12 cards to start your collection.

• Amethyst & Ruby Deck

This deck features mysterious Amethyst characters who can harness magical powers to help you achieve your goals, with the action-oriented boldness of Ruby characters who can dash forward with speed and bravery.

• Emerald & Steel Deck

This deck combines the adaptable nature of Emerald characters who use their quick wits to surprise opponents, with stalwart Steel characters who stand strong in the face of challenges.
